The Honorable Prime Minister inaugurated the Rozgar Mela on October 22, 2022. This initiative aims to recruit and integrate new employees into different Central Ministries, Departments, Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), Autonomous Bodies such as Health and Education Institutes, Public Sector Banks, as well as various states.
Rozgar Mela initiative, which was launched by the Prime Minister on October 22, 2022. Subsequently, several Rozgar Melas were held regularly, providing opportunities for candidates to be selected for employment.
To ensure inclusivity, the Prime Minister also addressed the selected candidates virtually, acknowledging their achievements and offering words of encouragement. It is important to note that recruitment for vacant positions in various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and their Attached and Subordinate offices is an ongoing process. These vacancies arise due to factors such as retirements, resignations, deaths, and promotions of existing employees.
To facilitate the recruitment process, Rozgar Mela events are organized across the country, providing a platform for individuals to secure employment in various Central Ministries, Departments, Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), Autonomous Bodies, and Public Sector Banks. The respective Ministries, Departments, and Organizations are responsible for maintaining records of vacancies and recruitment details.
This information was provided by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, as well as the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, on February 8, 2024, during a parliamentary session.
