Sir , I joined as Jr. Hindi Translator income Tax Deptt. on 03.011.1992. Promoted as Sr. Hindi Translator on 07.11.1999, after that promoted as Asstt. Director (OL) on 27.02..2009. Please tell me whether I am eligible for upgradation under MACP Rule 5 from 01.09.2008
You are eligible for 3rd MACP on completion of 30years as on 27/02/19 if you’re bench mark is very goog, if you’re not promoted between 27/02/09 to 26/02/19. If you are promoted, upto retirement on any other pay fixations.

If you have not got 3rd pay fixation on completion of 30th year of service you will get 3rd MACP from that date as next MATRIX LEVEL.
Sir, I am working in central govt. covered under automous body. My MACP date is 13.09.2017 and 7th pay commission come into effect w.e.f. 01.01.2016 and notification issued on 25 -27.07.2016. As per FR (22) (i) rule i would like to opt my option w.e.f. 13.09.2017 but my office’s officials are not granting the benefit of MACP means not allowing me for opting my benefit w.w.f. 13.09.2017 resulting in the loss of one increment for me.
