Bank DA Calculation with Example
How to calculate bank DA?: Here we explain how to calculate the percentage of DA with the example of the Dearness Allowance (DA) calculation formula is given below for bank employees as per the directions of 11th Bipartite Settlement (11th BPS) in clause 3 of Joint Note. Convert the CPI (IW) BY 2001=100 to Base Year 1960=100 using the conversion factor of (CPI x 4.63 x 4.93). And then minus 4440 with the value as per the decision in the 10th BPS/Joint Notes. 4440 points of DA were merged with the pay and the DA rate was fixed at 0.10% per slab.
