BSNL Board Approved Promotion policy – SNEA Announced Hunger Fast Protest
SNEA has announced a protest of relay hunger fasts from 4th to 8th November 2019 and Indefinite Fast from 11.11.19
SNEA has announced Relay Hunger Fast from 04th to 08th November 2019 and Indefinite Fast from 11.11.19 onwards demanding implementation of BSNL Board approved promotion policy w.e.f 01.07.2018:
A struggle for the youngsters, the future generation who has to take the company forward and for a honourable retirement for the seniors who put their life for BSNL.
Promotion and career growth is for motivating the remaining Executives to face the future challenges and work load in BSNL after the VRS scenario. Restructuring and VRS will lead to drastic Post reduction. There will not be any retirement vacancy also in the near future as most of the seniors may take VRS and that post also will go. The possibility of any promotion other than the new policy ruled out due to court cases.
The success of the struggle and settlement of the issues depends on the participation.
Considering the present situation in BSNL and the efforts for the Revival of BSNL, the agitation is concentrated at New Delhi only, not disturbing the field units. CS should represent the Circle.
The arrival details of CSs of A&N, AP, BR, CHG, CHTD, CTD, HP, HR, J&K, KTK, KRL, MP, NE I, PB, RAJ, TL, TN, UKD, UPE and UPW Circles in addition to BSNLCO and Delhi Circles received.
Accommodation and other arrangements are already made.
The details from AS, GUJ, JKD, MH, NE II, OR and WB Circles not reached. No Circle should remain un-represented.
Circle Secretaries are representing the Executives of the entire Circle and their sentiments and to take care of their welfare. Those CSs having any health problem for participating in Hunger Fast can bring other OBs for participating in the Hunger fast.
