AICPIN for May 2024: The Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (2016=100) for the month of May 2024 has been meticulously compiled by the Labour Bureau, which is an attached office of the Ministry of Labour & Employment. This index is based on retail prices gathered from 317 markets across 88 industrially significant centers in India. The latest data for May 2024 has been disclosed in this official statement. The All-India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers for May 2024 has witnessed a slight increase of 0.5 points, reaching a value of 139.9. Furthermore, the year-on-year inflation rate for May 2024 has shown a decrease, standing at 3.86% in comparison to the 4.42% recorded in May 2023.

Why aicpin for the month of May 2024 has not been published by Labour bureau yet ? Thus should be released immediately for calculation of IDA from July 2024 for Pension Holder of PSU Retirees .
May 24 ACPIN released as 139.9 /52.91. June should be reased. Anyhow after Budget section may be August or September (POOJA) only D.A./D.R. orders for July 2024 released.
