    Technical pay (‘X’ group pay) should not be withdrawn of Jco,’s who are granted honorary commission . It is noticed that JCOS of all groups ei. X, Y & Z are kept in same scale after having been granted honorary commission which is not correct.

    Sir,
    MSP is not justified as value of life is same for all. Even it should be more for PBOR,S ,as they are more susceptible to lay their lives in comparison to any others being in defence services.

    Thanks,

    There are three categories in army, MSP Rs 5200 is same for both ORs and JCOs, why Officers will get more. MSP should be more for JCOs. it should be atleast Rs 4000 for JCOs. MNS will also get MSP more than JCOs

    A reality Check on implementation of 7th Pay Commission
    ===================
    The signals regarding 7th CPC reveals that the implementation of 7th CPC has purposefully been delayed to resolve the issues of officer’s(from Lt Col to Brig)only. Their fitments factor has been revised from 2.57 to 2.87. Officer’s parity with IAS & IPS services has also been ensured. Who will get the benefit of extension of stages from 24 to 40 for JCOs/OR? Nobody is going to get any benefit because JCOs/OR get retired well before any stagnation due to age limit applicable for us. Officers serves upto 55 yrs and PBORs of Navy & Air Force can also serve upto 55 yrs. Then why shouldn’t JCOs/OR be retained till 55 yrs of age to get maximum increments by which they will also earn good pension like their counterparts/civilians?. But to KEEP THE ARMY YOUNG AND FIT FOR WAR they bring service and age criteria to Army so that the JCOs/OR get retires at younger age to keep the physical fitness of the Army and contradictorily it is not applicable to Navy and Air Force !!! . Since the PBOR of Air force & Navy can serve upto 55 yrs why special consideration of pension benefits not being given for JCOs/OR of Army? Nobody will argue for us because there is no member from JCOs/OR
    available in pay commission cell. If anybody is there, his views will not be taken into any consideration!! In the 5th CPC, the pay of Hav, SM, Maj and Maj Gen were not revised on 10 Oct 97 when others get benefited of revision..the case was taken up at appropriate level and pay of Maj & Maj Gen got revised but Hav & SM were left out. Similarly in 6th CPC also, the Lt Col’s pay was increased from 15400 to 34700(who were only left out without much pay hike) and officer’s promotion prospects has also been enhanced and they got promoted at younger age/service. Now-a-days, a CO of a unit is having only 17/18 yrs of service whereas earlier a Maj, who is leading a Coy, was having more than 20 yrs service/experience. This will bring negative impact when a war take place because the CO and other officers lacking required operational/man management experience. The officer’s promotion was delinked from promotion exams of Part B & D whereas Nb Sub still to pass JLPT to get promotion to Sub?!! Nobody is there to question such irregularities and biased policies. Now also, to keep calm the JCO’s/OR for non implementation of 7th CPC so far, the officer’s fooled them by issuing bogus letters/messages purportedly showing increased pay scales and the fitments factor of 2.87 etc for JCO’s/OR without having any authentication!!! When it is implemented now, there is no gains for JCO’s/OR..Only disability pensioners get benefited which includes the officers also. Totally, the JCO’s/OR get cheated again by their superiors as done earlier too.

    But the demand of MSP Rs. 10500 PM for JCO was not cleared, why? Was it taken with Cabinet by our chiefs? Pls let us know why was it not approved. Why MNS are authorised to draw MSP once they don’t come under Defence ministry and they neither handle weapons nor go to for such type of duties for which MSP is authorised

    Dear Sgt OP Sharma,
    Irrespective of you are in AirForce, Army or Navy, the protocol says, the hierarchy followed in Army is considered as a standard tool for service custom and etigates. Army follows a rank structure as JCO from Nb Sub and JCO mess entry from that rank. Fortunately/Unfortunately not standardised. If standardised, then Sgt may not be considered for SNCO Mess. Or HAV or equivalent may be considered for SNCO Mess. But in general, a trend is you may be on the losing side as Army HAV is in OR Mess. Best of Luck

    As long as officers are representing JCO/ORS they will alway look for their benefit and this will never change I see for the first time that three chiefs realised the importance of JCOs and put forward some thing which was never done before.
    Looks like for the first time we have Chiefs who are knowing their job very well hope they succeed in their pursuit

    Once all PBOR’s knew that none of the officer or minister thought about PBOR’s till to date than to whom you are telling MSP should be same, who is going to take up your comments, it is understood that officers leave all responsibilities for all tasks on JCO’s but as the matter of other benafits the officers count all PBOR’s in one catageory, but for them they will count for any benafits senior officers and junior officers. furher let any Govt. to come situation will remain un changed for PBOR’s. It’s surprising that Senior Non Commissioned Officer Mess is Made For Sergeant toMWO . This Is followed since the formation of RAF and subsequently changed to IAF. The US Army has Sgt To Sgt major equivalent to MWO of IAF.that is E1 to E9 Slightly change In Ranks structure.I would like Say this because Sergeant of IAF treated as Constable in civil during Aid to civil emergency.Hence Sergeant Are also be legally provided with Ranks like JWO To Warrants Officers.there should be slightly change In Ranks insigna.It should have been considered.

    All defence Person Officers and Men get items from CSD canteen at the same rate due to being in military service ( Ex. or serving). Despite, officers get higher pay due to their higher scales, All Officers or Men (PBOR) belong to Defence (Army, IAF and Navy). All fight in war and bullet also does not distinguish the category i.e. who is who, officer or man . MSP is due to Military service, Thus, MSP for Officers and men must be same, the different MSP Rs. 15500 for officers and Rs. 5200 for men is baseless. Concerned Authority in defence to consider it in the light of facts stated above. and put up to Govt. to consider the same MSP for all in 7th CPC.

    There should be special scale for defence persons whose entry qualification is degree or above.like other central govt employees they should be given future career prospects. The existing disparity has demoralised.Presently the Education Instructor in Indian Air Force are teaching the trainees/airmen who are joining IAF after 12th or above.Central Govt has given their status as PGT but scale less than PRT.Thus starting salary of Education Instructor should be at par with PGT or more as they teach them who have been taught by PGT. Most of the Education Instructors are MA/M Sc with B Ed or teaching experience. Besides they under go more than one year training

    Why clerks are not geting X group pay and it is also in the previous commissions that junior are getting more benefits than their seniors, these anomalies of 6th CPC should be clarified in the 7th CPC. Moreover, the MSP of a newly enrolled recruit and 28 year of service soldier are same, it should be adjusted according to their service.
