✓7th CPC Expected HRA Calculator 2016
7th Central Pay Commission has recommended reducing the percentage of House Rent Allowance. Since the CG Employees didn’t expect this development, they showed their resentment through agitations. The Federation raised this issue in all negotiating forums before the Govt.
Seeing the resentment over Allowances including HRA, the Central Government agreed to constitute a High-Level committee to examine the Allowances. Accordingly, FM revealed in the Parliament that the Committee has been constituted on 22.07.2016 and the first meeting of the Committee has been held on 04.08.2016. And the Committee has been asked to submit its report within four months.
It is said that there are possibilities to recommend two types of increase in respect of HRA. A simple calculator is prepared for CG Staff to know the amount of increase in HRA as per these two proposals.
The proposed HRA rates mentioned here are not final and are not approved. It is an assumption. The Final Decision on HRA will be taken by Govt after the Committee submits its report.

I am working as Assistant (G) I w.e.f. 12.07.2013 my basic is [Rs 9300-34800 + 4200] Rs 14320 after that one direct recruties joined on 19.12.2013 his salary that time minimum pay Rs 13,500. after that court ordered that grade pay increased to Rs 4600. The direct recruties pay fixed to 17,100. all the seniors are stepped to juniors a mimum pay of Rs 17,100. after that seniority list published by the Head Quarter, I became junior to he. office has re-fixed my pay on 12.07.2013 for Rs 14720, 01.07.2014 for Rs 15,170 and 01.07.2015 for Rs 15,630. my junior have received his pay on 01.07.2015 for Rs. 18,190. Now the implementation of 7th cpc my pay fixed on Rs 44,900 and his salary fixed Rs 47,600 as 01.01.2016. Now the office has re-fixed my salary and ordered recovery w.e.f. 19.12.2013. As per the supreme court order wrong fixation no recovery may be taken. Please advice.
