7th Pay Commission Pay Calculator for Defence Personnel (Updated on 10.9.2016)

We are not aware of updating the calculator for Armed Forces Defence Personnel as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.

The software calculator will help to convert the basic pay from 6th CPC to 7th CPC matrix pay. The calculation methodology is followed as per the 7th CPC Report.

7th Pay Commission Pay Arrears Calculator 2016

We update the calculator as per the Gazette Notification issued by the MoD on 5.9.2016. General recommendations on pay recommended by the Commission have been accepted with the following exceptions in Defence Pay Matrix, namely:

i. The index of Rationalisation of Level 13A (Brigadier) in Defence Pay Matrix may be revised upward from 2.57 to 2.67.

ii. Additional 3 stages in Levels 12A (Lt. Col), 3 stages in Level 13 (Colonel) and 2 stages in Level 13A (Brigadier) may be added appropriately in the Defence Pay Matrix.

Recommendations on Allowances (except Dearness Allowance) would be referred to a Committee comprising Finance Secretary & Secretary (Expenditure) as Chairman and Secretaries of Home Affairs, Defence, Health & Family Welfare, Personnel and Training, Posts and Chairman, Railway Board as Members.

The Committee would submit its report within a period of 4 months. Till a final decision on Allowances is taken based on the recommendations of this Committee, all Allowances would continue to be paid at existing rates in existing pay structure, as if the pay had not been revised w.e.f. 1.1.2016 i.e. , status quo would be maintained.

Arrears of Pay would be paid during the current financial year.

It is very strange that the pension of CAPTAIN a regular commissioned oficer of RCO Cadre served for 7 years, having 7 increments of CAPTAIN Rank with 8+ polnts ACR, Has been fixed equivalent to a Sub Maj Honrary Commissioned Officer in the rank of CAPTAIN Having 6 months Commissioned Service. It is totaly injustice and unfare because regular commissioned oficer of RCO Cadre performed more Active duties of an Officer rather than a Honourary commissioned officer having six months before the status and performing the duties of a JCO. The one who has not selected by a SSB and a group of GTOS. In a service selection center. The basic pension of both was fixed Rs. 17010 during the settlement of OROP. This anomaly was fwd. for review but no outcome has come up. It has suggested that basic pension of commissioned oficer of RCO Cader should be much more in veiw of the no of years of commissioned service served by oneself. As such the responssibilities and duties performed by a commissioned officer are much higher than a JCO/ Hon. Commissioned officer.

How you can compare a Soldier from civil employee. A soldier is 24 hrs ready for the Nation. Civil employee is doing 1000hrs to 1700 hrs job and a soldier is doing 24 hrs job with life risk.

Whatever 7th pay commission given to central govt employees is much better. These people never thinks of what other people working with private sector are getting salaries and allowances. If you compare with their pay perks, it is really pity. I am an ex.serviceman worked with more than six organisations in private sector, and saw their pay and perks,. I felt pity upon them. Because their salaries are too less. Still they are happy and leading good life. But our govt employees are always unhappy with payment.and cursing the govt. And these people will never become happy. But I am very with OROP And 7th Pay Commission.

It’s a great concern to the Govt. If in this way you will treat to the Govt Employees,Modi ji surely this will be your last time that you reign in this democracy. And surely you will loose at very great extent because you have hurted the hearts of 1 Crore Govt Employee plus around 10 crore of their family and relatives. So, this way you can calculate how you are going to loose in the next election and don’t worry that the people will forget this ever bad scenario what you have make us landed today. And lastly, the Congress party will come in force and make utilise of the preserved money by your Govt for its own benefits. So, it’s the urge of the CG Employees , just think of the concern and take a call at this right juncture. Thank You Mr PM.
