The calculator is incorrect. The correct calculation should be (Basic Pay + GP) x 2.57 (or 2.62 or 2.67 depending on the 7th cpc level as per 6th cpc grade pay and 7th cpc pay matrix table) rounded iff to the next highest figure in that level.

As a rough indicator one may do (BP +GP) x 2.57. Whatever figure one gets by doing this would be less than the basic pay as per 7th cpc pay matrix.

For Armed Forces an additional Rs 15500/- is recommended by 7th cpc as Military Service Pay.

COUNTRY DOESNOT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION ABOUT POOR PEOPLE. IT INCREASES PAY OF CENTRAL GOVT. EMPLOYEES BY SELLING PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKINGS/ENTERPRISES EVERY YEAR. ALSO LEVYING VARIOUS KINDS OF TAXES ON GENERAL PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY. IS IT THE TRUE NATURE OF THE CENTRAL GOVT. OF INDIA. IT IS TAKING INITIATIVE OF SWATCH BHARAT MISSION. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? IS IT JUST SWEEP THE DUST OF THE ROAD AND THAT’S IT…… AT THE TIME OF LOKSHOBHA ELECTION LEADERS BEG TO PEOPLE FOR VOTING THEM. BUT AFTER GETTING ELECTED THEY FORGET EVERY THING THEY PROMISED BEFORE THE ELECTION. IT IS A REAL PICTURE OF THE COUNTRY. CENTRAL GOVT. EMPLOYEE HUGE PERCENTAGE OF DA EVERY YEAR.BUT DO THE POOR PEOPLE GET THE BENEFIT OF THAT DA. ALL THOSE MUST HAVE TO BE RECONSIDERED VIVIDLY…
