DA Hike from July 2023: DA may be hiked by 4% for central govt employees and Pensioners from 1st July 2023!
Now, the central government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners are getting a 42% dearness allowance of their basic pay or basic pension. After revision, the DA is likely to be increased to 46% with an additional Dearness allowance of 4%. this DA hike will be effective from July 1, 2023.
When can we expect the announcement regarding the 46% Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government Employees?
As per the DA calculation recommended by the 7th pay commission, after releasing the last month of AICPIN (June 2023) the percentage of Dearness Allowance would be 46.24%! After ignoring the decimal, the 46 percent of Dearness Allowance for Central government employees with effect from 1st July 2023 will be declared soon!
The agenda point on Dearness Allowance for the next Union Cabinet Committee meeting is likely added and the committee will give its nod for a hike of 4% DA from July 2023! The next meeting may be held on 28.9.2023 Thursday!
