UDISE Plus 2025: UDISE+ Teacher Module, School Module Registration and Login Profile

UDISE Plus Registration and Login: UDISe+ stands for the Unified District Information System for Education Plus, and it serves as a vital and advanced database essential for educational planning and policy development. The cornerstone of effective planning and decision-making lies in timely and accurate data, which enables educational institutions to achieve their goals and better serve their communities.

In pursuit of this objective, establishing a robust Sustainable Educational Management Information System has become increasingly critical, allowing stakeholders to access essential information that fosters improvement and accountability within the education sector. UDISE+ is among the largest Management Information Systems ever launched by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

This extensive system encompasses over 1.489 million schools, 9.5 million teachers, and an astounding 265 million children, proving to be an indispensable asset for analyzing and advancing the educational framework across the country.

UDISE Plus: SDMS (Student Database Management System)

The Student Database Management System, or SDMS for short, is an advanced and highly effective platform crafted to oversee a wide range of student-related records. This includes essential details like thorough student profiles, enrollment figures, dropout statistics, transfer records, and data regarding academic progress or setbacks, among other important metrics. This essential system not only streamlines the creation of detailed reports at various levels of administration—Central, State, district, block, and individual schools—but also significantly enriches the educational management process.

Beyond its reporting features, the SDMS acts as a powerful data management resource, allowing for effortless storage, updates, manipulation, analysis, and sharing of student information. Its intuitive interface enables educators and administrators to access and manage student data with ease, free from unnecessary complications. Additionally, the presence of customized search functionalities greatly enhances the efficiency of tracking student records, making it simple to retrieve needed information quickly.

The system offers a wide-ranging approach, encompassing various types of student information across all levels of school education. It includes data from different educational boards, school management organizations, independent bodies, vocational programs, and open school students. Notably, the Student Database Management System is implemented in a federated manner, providing distinct instances that cater to the specific needs of various states, autonomous organizations, and school management systems.

This structure allows each entity to effectively handle its unique data demands while the SDMS integrates and consolidates student information from these federated sources, fostering a unified database that supports educational advancement and policy development.

UDISE Plus: Types of Login Modules

UDISE Plus serves as a unified platform featuring a variety of login options tailored to meet diverse educational requirements and user roles. This includes a detailed School Directory that provides essential information about schools, along with dedicated modules for Teachers, Reports, and Students.

To access the ‘Student Module,’ you will begin by selecting your state from a dropdown menu and then click on the ‘Go’ button. This will take you to a new page focused on the login process. There, you will need to enter your unique User ID and Password. Once you’ve provided the correct credentials, you will be granted access to your customized dashboard, where you can explore all relevant information related to your education, such as academic records, school facilities, and various resources to enhance your learning experience.

UDISE Plus: How to find UDISE number?

Finding your UDISE number is a breeze! In the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE), your school’s UDISE code acts like a username, while the block MIS coordinator will provide you with the password. If you don’t have a UDISE code yet, simply head over to the SDMS portal to register and create one. After you’ve registered, the Block Education Officer (BEO) will group your school into a cluster and give you verification details, which will culminate in the issuance of a provisional U-DISE code. This code enables you to access a wealth of information about any school. However, keep in mind that these codes are quite lengthy, roughly 13 characters, making them a bit challenging to remember.

If you ever misplace your school’s U-DISE number, don’t worry! You can easily retrieve any school’s U-DISE code anytime by visiting the government website src.udiseplus.gov.in.

To find your school’s UDISE number, you have a couple of options at your disposal. The first approach is to head over to the homepage where you can enter your school’s UDISE and the corresponding PIN code. Once you submit the PIN, a detailed report of all schools in the vicinity will be provided, making it easy to retrieve your school’s details. The alternative method is outlined as follows:

Step 1: Launch your web browser and navigate to src.udiseplus.gov.in.
Step 2: Search for the ‘Locate School’ option.
Step 3: Click on it, and you’ll see a search form pop up with several fields to complete.
Tip: It’s advisable to fill in as many details as possible about your school, including Academic Year, State, District, Block, Cluster, and Village.
Step 4: Lastly, hit the Search button below the form. Please allow some time for the search to process, as it may take a bit depending on your internet connection and the information you entered.
