The UDISE code serves as a distinctive marker for schools that have joined the UDISE+ platform. Each school is assigned an 11-digit code that corresponds to recognized educational institutions spanning from pre-primary to XII grade levels. The code undergoes a sequential process involving generation, alteration, status update, and eventual closure. It is crucial to note that once a school receives its UDISE code, it remains fixed for that particular institution, with alterations only permissible in the event of a district or state relocation.
