TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Vacancy Details 2024
We are currently on the lookout for Category – I Graduate Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, with a focus on Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. There are 18 apprenticeship positions up for grabs. Each apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000, offering financial assistance throughout their training. This program spans one year, during which apprentices will acquire essential practical skills in their respective areas.
Additionally, we invite applications for Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, particularly in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. A total of 61 training positions are available for enthusiastic candidates. These apprentices will earn a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to help facilitate their education and growth. The training program lasts for one year, allowing apprentices ample opportunity to engage in hands-on learning and deepen their expertise in their selected fields.
TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024
Category I Graduate Apprentices are expected to have either a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized statutory university within the relevant field. They may also meet the requirements with a full-time degree from an institution authorized by an Act of Parliament, or through a graduate examination conducted by professional bodies acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as equivalent to these qualifications.
Conversely, for Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, a full-time diploma in Engineering or Technology is required, which should be issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education sanctioned by the State Government in the relevant area. Alternatively, they could possess a full-time diploma from a university or one awarded by an institution recognized by either the State or Central Government as equivalent to the previously mentioned credentials.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024
The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist from the data submitted in online applications. Selection of candidates will be determined by the percentage of marks obtained in their essential qualifications relevant to their disciplines. Individuals who make the shortlist will be informed via their registered email. Following this, shortlisted candidates are required to participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.
How to apply TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment 2024?
If you’re a student who has already signed up on the previous National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details, please follow these instructions:
Step 1:
a. Visit the link https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Select the Students option
c. Click on Student login
d. Choose Forgot Password
e. Enter your registered email to receive a link for activation and password reset.
Step 2:
a. Log in as a student
b. Provide your registered email and set a new password
c. Complete the application form
d. Each student will be given a unique 12-digit Enrollment number.
Once you’ve finished enrolling on the new portal:
To submit your application:
a. Log in with your email and new password
b. Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and look for “TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT”
c. Click apply. You’ll see your status change to “applied.”
