SBI Balance Check Number – SBI Balance Check Number By SMS, Missed Call, Net Banking & Mobile Banking

The State Bank of India provides its clients with numerous avenues to easily keep track of their savings account balance, whether through digital means or traditional methods. With features like net banking, mobile banking, phone banking, and SBI Quick SMS banking, account holders can seamlessly stay updated on their financial status. By delving into these various options, SBI customers can quickly check their account balance without having to make a trip to a bank branch every time they need this information. Let’s delve into the different methods that allow SBI account holders to conduct balance inquiries based on their individual preferences.

SBI Balance Enquiry by Toll-free Numbers

SBI has just introduced a toll-free hotline that provides various services, including checking your account balance, getting a mini statement, reporting a lost ATM card, and more. To check your balance, just call SBI’s toll-free number: 1800-1234. This service is entirely free, meaning you won’t incur any charges for your inquiries. Moreover, you can also use the toll-free number 1800-2100 to access your SBI account balance without any fees.

SBI Balance Check by Missed Call

Missed call banking offers a hassle-free method for managing your financial activities, simply by placing a missed call or sending a text to your bank. The State Bank of India (SBI) provides this feature, enabling customers to check their account balances, obtain mini-statements, access e-statements from the past six months, request loan certificates, set up ATMs, generate ATM PINs, and receive details regarding home and car loans, as well as social security programs. This service, which has the backing of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), is widely accessible at most banks across the country.

To check your account balance, just call the toll-free number for SBI balance inquiries at +91-9223766666 or send a text with “BAL” to the same number. For mini-statements, either call +91-9223766666 or text “MSTMT” to that number. There may be minor charges associated with SMS services, which differ according to the bank’s policies; however, many banks do not charge for balance inquiries made via toll-free calls.

This service is especially advantageous for those who hold multiple accounts at SBI. Users will receive a message that outlines the balances of all their accounts, including account numbers and types. If any technical difficulties arise that hinder the use of this service, customers are encouraged to remain patient and try again later.

For customers to take advantage of this service, it is necessary to associate their mobile number with their SBI savings account. The registration process is straightforward and only needs to be done once. Individuals should text ‘REGAccount Number’ to 09223488888. Afterward, the bank will send a confirmation message to the account holder, verifying that the service has been activated.

How to Do SBI Balance Check using WhatsApp Banking

To access the WhatsApp Banking service offered by SBI, users must kick off the process by sending a straightforward ‘Hi’ from their registered mobile number to +91-9022690226. After that, they should follow the instructions that appear in the chat. Alternatively, one can send a text message formatted as ‘WAREG ACCOUNT NUMBER’ to 7208933148 using the mobile number associated with their SBI account.

For checking the balance of an SBI account via UPI, users should open any UPI-enabled app on their smartphone. Next, they need to log in with their specific code, choose the account they want to check, select the ‘check balance’ option, enter their passcode for verification, and once verified, the account balance will be shown on the screen.

How to Do FASTag SBI Balance Check Online

You have a few options to easily monitor your remaining balance as an SBI FASTag user:

  • Access the SBI YONO App and navigate to the FASTag feature in the YONO Pay section for balance checking and reloading your FASTag.
  • Use the My FASTag app created by IHMCL, where users can check their FASTag balance after logging into the app.
  • Visit https://fastag.bank.sbi/ and log in with your mobile number and password to view your current balance.

How to Do SBI Balance Check through SBI Passbook

Upon opening an account at the State Bank of India, customers receive a passbook to keep track of their transactions. It’s important for them to frequently update this passbook to maintain an accurate record of all their activities. By checking their updated passbooks, customers can easily see their current balance and monitor their deposits and withdrawals. To update their passbooks, customers need to visit the bank branch in person, as many still prefer this classic approach over the online or mobile banking options available.

How to Check SBI Account Balance through ATM

Customers of SBI can use their ATM-debit card to check their account balance at any State Bank of India ATM. To do this, simply swipe the card, input your 4-digit PIN, choose the “Balance Enquiry” option, and finalize the action. Additionally, by selecting the “Mini Statement” feature, users can view their last 10 transactions, which will print out a receipt detailing recent account activity.

Moreover, account holders can also check their balance at non-SBI or third-party ATMs. However, it’s important to remember that the Reserve Bank of India has set limits on the number of free transactions permitted per ATM card, including balance checks.

Once you surpass the free transaction limit, fees will apply for any further transactions in that month, whether at SBI or other ATMs. To steer clear of these charges, it’s advisable for account holders to use online methods for checking their SBI balance. Thus, it’s best to reserve ATM visits for cash withdrawals or particular services.

For a seamless, efficient, and economical way to manage finances, individuals should opt for mobile or online platforms to check their SBI balance or that of any other bank account.
