For states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, the fasting schedule differs. In these regions, the first Shravan Somwar Vrat will commence on August 5, 2024, with subsequent fasting days falling on August 12, August 19, August 26, and September 2, 2024. The culmination of Shravana is scheduled for September 3, 2024.
Nepal and specific parts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will also adhere to their Sawan Somwar Vrat dates. The Nepali tradition marks the beginning of Shravan on July 16, 2024. Fasting will continue on July 22, July 29, August 5, and August 12, 2024. The Nepali Shravan period concludes on August 15, 2024.
