Su.bject: Revision of ceiling price of purchase of Desktop for Cat-II & Cat-III officers/officials of FCI in Desktop Policy-reg

Sir/Madam,

Kindly refer to the New desktop policy circulated vide Circular No.IT/01/2022 dated 22.09.2022. In the light of representations received from various FCI offices requesting for revision of the ceiling limit of desktops for Cat.II & Cat.III officers/officials, the issue was examined and the Competent Authority has approved the following changes in the clause No.1.1.1., serial No.8 of the above-mentioned policy: –

1. The ceiling price for the purchase of desktop PCs (excluding office software) for Cat-III & Cat-II officers/officials has been increased from Rs.50,000/-per unit to Rs.55,000/unit.

All other terms and conditions of the New Desktop policy shall remain unchanged.
