Expected DA from January 2023 for Central Government Employees and Pensioners

 

The government has announced that starting on January 1st, 2023, its employees will receive a 4% increase in Dearness Allowance. This brings the total DA amount to 42%, and the announcement about the increase was made on March 16th, 2023. The new DA amount will be equivalent to 42% of the employee’s basic pay

The Ministry of Finance has issued orders for the Dearness Allowance to increase by 4% from the current rate with effect from 1.7.2022 for all Central Government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners. The Expected Dearness Allowance from January 2023 for Central Government employees and Pensioners may be 4%, and the overall DA from January 2023 could increase to 42%. The Finance Ministry and Railway Board have also released orders elevating the Dearness Allowance from 34% to 38%. And the next episode of ‘Expected DA from Jan 2023’ starts now!
