Merger of Dearness Allowance and Basic Pay – Computation 01.04.2004 MoM PNM/NFIR Item
The Ministry of Railways has issued a memorandum regarding the merger of Dearness Allowance with the Basic Pay, effective from April 1, 2004. This memorandum specifically addresses the computation of emoluments for the Running Staff to grant retirement benefits. The memorandum was discussed and documented during the meeting of the Positive Negotiating Machinery (PNM) and the National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR).
