The Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2023-24 for Standard 1 is exclusively available via the KVS online admission portal (kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in). If there are any positions available, the application process can be completed offline. KVS Class 1 Admission 2023-24 Rules
It is important to be aware of the following criteria before applying for Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalaya:
1. Age requirements must be strictly adhered to; your child must have completed 6 years of age by 31st March 2023 for the academic year 2023-24. The only exception is for children born on the 1st of April. If your child does not meet this criterion, the KVS online admission portal will reject the application.
2. You may apply for Class 1 in multiple schools for your child, however, it is not permitted to submit a second application to the same school. Should you do so, both applications may be rejected.

The Central Government has implemented the ‘New Education Policy’ in Kendirya Vidyalayas since the preceding academic year. Thus, the minimum age requirement for admission into Class 1 for the 2023-24 academic year is 6 years.
Applicants must be six years old for the 2023-24 academic year in order to be eligible to apply for Class 1 in any Kendriya Vidyalaya across India.
The age criteria to be adhered to in all Kendriya Vidyalayas for the academic year 2023-24 is a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 8 years for entry into Class 1.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has adopted the ‘New Education Policy’ which stipulates the maximum age limit for entry into class 1 as 8 years for the academic year 2023-24.
