JCM National Council Secretary Stresses for Promotional Hierarchy under MACP
Based on the letter from BPMS, the JCM National Council Secretary, Mr. Ram Gopal Mishra, has written a letter to the DOPT Secretary.
It was explained in the letter that in the case of the judgement issued for Mr. Rajpal on 31st May 2011 by the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal Chandigarh, the MACP financial upgradation was granted based on Promotional Hierarchy. The letter also adds that the judgement given in his case should not be treated as a specific case and has to be considered a general guideline that is applicable to all.
There are a number of precedents where others had sought for remedies based on the relief granted to an individual.
The letter requests that changes be made to MACP in order to make it applicable to all the Central Government employees.
