Government of India is reluctant to consider Merger of DA, Interim relief, scrapping of New Pension Scheme

November 19, 2014 admin 4 Comments

Government of India is reluctant to consider the long pending legitimate demands of Merger of DA in Pay, Interim relief, scrapping of New Pension Scheme

Press release during 90th Annual General Council of AIRF which is being held at Hubli on 18-20.11.2014.

Shri Mishra also stressed that the Government of India is reluctant to consider the long pending legitimate demands of Railwaymen as regards the Merger of DA in Pay, Interim relief, scrapping of New Pension Scheme and on other side various amendments in labour laws are being enforced just to crush the labour/workmen.

The All India Railwaymen Federation & JCM (staff side) have tried at the level best to settle the all demands of Railwaymen and other Central Government employees amicably but the Government of India adamant to accede the genuine demand of the Railwaymen and other Government employees, leaving no option left with us, except to go on Countrywide Indefinite Strike for which the responsibility will lies on the Government.

“Tension is the root cause of all sorts diseases.”

So my point is, why govt. is reluctant on the issues like merger of DA, scrapping of NPS and interim relief which are the legitimate demands of central govt employees? Being reluctant means inviting tension and other internal dissatisfactions amongst the central govt. employees who are the backbone of administration of the nation as a whole. I think the present govt. do not realise this important issues at all and show lackadaisical attitudes towards the employees group when each govt. should take care of its each category of people uniformly.

Hope, my govt. should realise the points in its right prospective and maintain uniformity in respect of all classes of citizens of India.

As per Central Government employees and Pensioners Union leaders, Government is very reluctant to accede any of the demands of Union i.e. merger of DA, Interim Relief and Review of NPS, Union leaders should also advise their cadres what other options are left for them or the unions simply keep on licking the feet of Government. You will not get any relief from the NDA Government.
