Diwali Festival Gift for Karnataka Govt Employees – 4.75% Hike in DA
After hearing the cheering announcement of hike in 5% DA to Central Govt employees and pensioners, another State Govt announced the same for its employees.
The Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa announced on Saturday (19.10.2019) an additional 4.75 percent hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees as Special Diwali Gift.
After the announcement on DA, the existing rate of 6.50% will be increased to 11.25% with effect from 1st July 2019.
The revised rates of DA would be eligible for all regular full-time government employees and Zilla panchayat employees.
The enhanced percentage of DA would also be admissible to pensioners.
