Diwali Bonus to TN Govt Employees – Orders Issued

The government of Tamil Nadu has recently announced the issuance of orders regarding the Diwali bonus for state employees. This bonus is an annual tradition that provides a monetary reward to hardworking government workers in celebration of the Hindu festival of lights. The announcement of this bonus is sure to bring joy to many families as they prepare for the upcoming holiday season.

Diwali Bonus to Tamil Nadu Government Employees 2021 

As the highly anticipated Diwali festival draws near, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin made an exciting announcement that has brought joy to the hearts of many employees. In an effort to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication, the Chief Minister has declared a 10% bonus to be distributed to all Group C and D employees who work in public sector undertakings for the upcoming year of 2021. This news has undoubtedly sparked feelings of gratitude and excitement among the hardworking individuals who have been tirelessly contributing to the success of their respective companies.

In a gesture of appreciation and recognition for their hard work and dedication, more than 2.8 Lakh eligible employees will receive a bonus and Ex-Gratia amount of Rs. 8400 this year 2021. This financial boost will undoubtedly bring some relief to those who have been working tirelessly during these unprecedented times, and it will also serve as a morale booster. The news of this bonus will undoubtedly be received with great joy and gratitude by the employees who have been eagerly waiting for it.

Diwali Bonus is a monetary bonus given to the Tamil Nadu (TN) Government employees during the festival of Diwali.

All TN Government employees, including permanent and temporary employees are eligible for the Diwali Bonus.

The Diwali Bonus amount varies from year to year, but it is usually equivalent to one-month salary of the employee’s basic pay.

The TN Government announces the Diwali Bonus every year around the time of Diwali.

Yes, the Diwali Bonus is subject to income tax as per the prevailing tax laws.

No, only active TN Govt employees are eligible for the Diwali Bonus. Retired employees are not eligible to receive this bonus.
