7th CPC Pay Matrix Table for Level 5 as of Jan 2025
Scale of Salary in 6th & 7th CPC: Pay Level 5 = Grade Pay 2800 = PB1 5200-20200
The fifth stage of new pay matrix recommended by 7th pay commission for Central Government and Railway employees is Level 5. The basic monthly salary calculation for the level 5 is given below.

- Basic pay: Rs. 29,200
- Dearness Allowance: Rs. 15,476 (53% Of Basic Pay)
- House Rent Allowance: Rs. 8,760 (30% / X Cities)
- Travelling Allowance: Rs. 5508 (Level-5 / A1 Cities)
- Gross Salary: Rs. 58,944
