IDA Orders Issued for CPSE Employees
The Ministry of Finance’s Department of Public Enterprises has recently released orders regarding the increase in Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), effective from October 1st, 2023. These orders specifically apply to employees who are currently on the Pay Scale 2017, Pay Scale 2007, and Pay Scale 1987.
The first IDA order pertains to employees in CPSE (Central Public Sector Enterprises) at the Board Level and Below Board level, including Non-Unionized supervisors. The IDA rates for these employees will be revised to 43.8% from October 2023. This revision applies to those who have already had their pay scales adjusted in 2017.
The second IDA order also applies to CPSE employees at the Board Level and Below Board level, including Non-Unionized supervisors. The IDA rates for these employees will be revised to 215.6% from October 2023. This revision applies to those who have already had their pay scales adjusted in 2007.
The third IDA order is applicable to CPSE employees at the Board Level and Below Board level, including Non-Unionized supervisors. The IDA rates for these employees will be revised to 432.8% from October 2023. This revision applies to those who have already had their pay scales adjusted in 1997.
