Cabinet Approved 58% DA from July 2025

कैबिनेट ने केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों, पेंशनभोगियों और पारिवारिक पेंशनभोगियों के लिए जुलाई 2025 से 58% डीए को मंजूरी दी

On this day (1st October 2025, Wednesday), the Union Cabinet Committee, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has agreed to implement an additional 3% Dearness Allowance for Central Government employees. Following the announcement of this DA increase, over 1 crore beneficiaries, including pensioners and family pensioners, will be affected. The increase will take effect from 1st July 2025, and the arrears for three months will be disbursed along with this month’s salary and pension.

3% Additional DA from July 2025

The minimum salary increase will be Rs. 540 and Rs. 270 per month due to the Dearness Allowance (DA) increase starting from July 2025 for Central Government employees and pensioners, respectively. The table below outlines the arrears and salary increase effective from July 2025. For instance, if an employee has a basic salary of Rs. 18000, the impact of the DA on his salary is detailed as follows:

Minimum ₹ 540 Increased Per Month

The minimum salary increase will be Rs. 540 and Rs. 270 per month due to the Dearness Allowance (DA) adjustment starting from July 2025 for Central Government employees and pensioners, respectively. The table below outlines the arrears and salary increase effective from July 2025. For instance, if an employee has a basic salary of Rs. 18000, the DA effect on his salary will be as follows: in October 2025, he will receive Rs. 10440 as DA and Rs. 1620 as arrears.

5% DA Increase for 6th CPC

The Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees drawing pay in the pre-revised pay scale/Grade Pay structure (as per the 6th Central Pay Commission) will be increased by 5 percentage from the existing 252% to 257% of Basic Pay with effect from July 1, 2025.
