AICPIN for the month of May 2019: Labour Bureau under the Ministry of Labour and Employment will publish the statistics of Consumer Price Index today
Usually the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers is released on the last date of working day of the succeeding month and is updated on the same day in the website of Labour Bureau.
As per the Advance Release Calendar of Labour Bureau, the Consumer Price Index (IW) for the month of May 2019 is expected to release today. This index is most important factor the calculation of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief for Central Government Employees and Pensioners. The DA and DR from the month of July 2019 to be revised accordance with the fluctuation of Consumer Price Index.
