A new website for National Council JCM Staff Side

The National Council Joint Consultative Machinery was formulated in order to present the demands of the central government employees to the Government and successfully negotiate with them to ensure their implementation.

Due to the efforts of the organization’s current Secretary, Mr. Siva Gopal Mishra, an exclusive official website for the employees of the National Council JCM Staff Side was launched. Although the website was launched last year, it has only now started gaining popularity among employees.

Creation of such official websites greatly diminishes the possibilities of rumours. These websites enable the dissemination of information to millions of employees in a very short time. It is also possible now for the employees to give their feedback on the news articles and latest developments, and share them with the rest of the world.

There is no doubt that these initiatives of the National Council JCM, to keep its members updated on its various activities via the internet, would receive tremendous response from one and all.

The 7CPC has applied the lowest Index of 2.57 to the post of Director and equivalent i.e.Pay Band 4 , pre-revised scale of Rs 37400-67000 plus Gr.Pay of Rs 8700 while it has applied the higher Index of 2.67 to the immediately lower posts in P.B.3-Dy Secy and Jt. Director, which are feeder posts to P.B.4. the reason given for this in para 5.1.20 (i) of its report is not factually correct as the comparison between post and pre 1/1/2006 entry pay for the posts in P.B.4 and above shows. If required, I can post the table and a copy of my RTI Application . Pl. let me know the email id of 7CPC News. so that I can post it to you. this is a big injustice to Directors and equivalent posts.

This refers to recent finmin order dt. 16-10-2015 on fixation of revised pay on implementataion of VI CPC wherein promotions earned between 1-1-2006 to 29-08-2008 by an employee is allowed one increment due to merger of feeder and promoted scales. In this connection, I would like to mention that, almost all department followed the same RR till it is amended later say 2009,2010, 2011 and promotions were allowed.
In the above circumstances these persons could not got fixation benefit though they were promoted in the same grade pay. Hence my sincere request to the JCM authority to take up the issue and benefit as contained in 16-10-2015 may be extended to all those who promoted in the same grade pay till the RR is amended in the respective department so that benefit reaches to all.
Hope in the ensuing meeting this will be taken up for discussion with the DOPT/FINMIN.
    With regards. .
