Head Constable and Constable Pay Matrix Level 2020

According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 9th October 2020 regarding the recruitment rules fo technical group C posts. Here we compiled some important aspects of pay matrix level for Constable and Head Constable.

Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification, level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications etc.—The method of recruitment, age-limit,qualifications and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.

• Head Constable: Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Head Constable (Radio Operator): Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Head Constable (Crypto): Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Head Constable (Radio Fitter/Radio Technician): Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Head Constable (Auxiliary Nurse/Midwifery): Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Head Constable (Paramedics): Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Head Constable (Technician): Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Head Constable (Electrician): Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100
• Constable: Level 3 in the pay matrix Rs. 21700 – 69100
