7th Pay Commission News Latest Today – AIRF Requested to Issue the Payment of Dearness Allowance Arrear through Supplementary Bill Before Diwali Festival
All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF) secretary writes a letter to the Financial Commissioner (Railways), Railway Board regarding the payment of Dearness Allowance Arrears through Supplementary Bill. If it is not possible, payment of October 2019 Salary may be advanced to 25th October, 2019.

He said in the letter, consequent upon approval of the Union Government, the Ministry of Finance is likely to issue orders for payment of 5% Dearness Allowance, w.e.f. 1st July, 2019, to the Central Government Employees.
Accordingly, Railway Board are to issue instructions in this regard to all the Zonal Railways and Production Units for payment of the same in October 2019 Salary Bill.
Such payment, after the end of the most prominent festival “Deepawali” will not serve the purpose, as “Deepawali” falls on 27th October, 2019(Sunday).

You are, therefore, requested to communicate necessary instructions to all the Zonal Railways and Production Units to arrange payment of 5% Dearness Allowance, with the arrears, w.e.f. 1st July, 2019, to the Railwaymen, through Supplementary Bill well before “Deepawali Festival”.
However, if it is not possible, payment of October 2019 Salary may be advanced to 25th October, 2019.
