As per the Union Cabinet decision, all Central Government employees, Railway employees and Defence Forces Personnel will benefit of minimum Rs. 720 per month. And also Civil and Defence pensioners will benefit of minimum Rs. 360 increase in monthly pension.

After the announcement of additional DA and DR to existing and retired employees of Central Government, the total DA and DR increased to 21%.
