Dear friends this is a very serious issue of pay fixation of promotee,, actually at present time it is not being fixed with reference to the minimum entry of the that Grade Pay in which somebody is being promoted. this problem generally happen in promotion from GP 4200 to 4600/…. as there is a big disparity in the pay of these two grade pays.. this time promotee is being given only one increment in their running pay.. some time it does not reach to the minimum pay as this is being given to the direct recruitee in that GP. However, in such case an insufficient solution is given by Dopt… but its only to there where the element are of Direct and promotee. however, some sectors does not have the element of Direct recruitee. Hence, they are not being covered by this inferior solution…. If 7th CPC fixed new basic pay in multiplying factor then this disparity will be more between the promotee and DR in the same grade pay. So it is humbly request to the Chairman of 7th CPC please not to repeat such mistake as it was bei;ng made by the 6th CPC, which has not been solved so far even by the NAC.
