What is Pay Level?
Pay level is a system used by the Central Government of India to determine the designation or grade of its employees. It is based on the employee’s existing post with grade, and other factors. Pay Matrix Level 1 Basic Salary for State Govt Employees:
- According to the resolution of Finance Department of Tamil Nadu on 11.10.2017, the basic salary of pay matrix level 1 is Rs. 15700.
- As per the notification of Rajasthan Government on 30.10.2017, the basic salary of pay matrix level 1 is Rs. 17700.
- As per the notification of Finance Department of Maharashtra Government on 30.1.2019, the basic salary of pay matrix level S1 is Rs. 15000.
- According to the resolution of Finance Department of Bihar on 24.5.2017, the basic salary of pay matrix level 1 is Rs.18000.
- As per the notification of Finance Department of West Bengal Government on 25.9.2019, the minimum basic salary in pay level 1 is Rs. 17000.
