Figuring out the first month’s salary of a central government worker can be a bit of a hassle, depending on the city their office is in! All you need are three main elements in order to calculate their monthly wage: the percentage of Dearness Allowance, the house rent allowance percentage, and the rate of transport allowance. We’ve crunched the numbers into four separate categories based on those factors!
The central government has divided the cities and towns in India into three categories such as Class X, Class Y, and Class Z, and the house rent has been determined accordingly.
