Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal 2024-25: The Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal (TNSSP) for the year 2024-25 functions as a centralized platform consolidating the various scholarship schemes offered by different state departments. Important Notice: Before commencing the Scholarship Application procedure, obtaining a valid UMIS ID from the UMIS Portal is essential. If you don’t possess an UMIS ID yet, kindly seek guidance from your Institute’s UMIS Nodal officer to enroll in the UMIS Portal.

Guidelines: BC/MBC (Institutions) applicants who have opted for the fee recommendation feature must submit all required documents to the designated DBCW by the 20th of May, 2024. Adhering to this deadline is crucial for the prompt processing of your scholarship application.

Announcement – Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department

The Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department joyfully announces the commencement of accepting new scholarship applications for the academic year 2023-2024 from eligible SC/SCC/ST first-year students starting on 01.02.2024. It is imperative that all SC/SCC/ST students complete and submit their application forms by 31.07.2024 for scholarship consideration.

Furthermore, the renewal process for current scholarship beneficiaries has been activated as of 18.12.2023. Institutions are urged to verify and update the academic information of students promptly and submit the renewal applications without delay.

Should any students not be included in the renewal list, they will be treated as new applicants. Institutions are mandated to register these students in the University Management Information System (UMIS) to guarantee their eligibility for the scholarship grant.
