In addition to this, a number of incentives and benefits are also going to be offered to the state government employees. Schemes will be launched to ensure that at the time of retirement, the employee owns a house. Medical insurance plans will also be given. All these schemes will be implemented in stages. He also said that absence due to participation in anti-bifurcation protests will be treated as leave. His speech was followed by the passing of the Bill recommending the increasing of superannuation age from 58 to 60 for State Government employees.

The retirement age for Central Government employees was increased from 58 to 60 in 1998. According to the World Health Organization, the average life expectancy for Indians is 65 years. There is now a requirement for experienced state government employees to sustain and ensure the growth and development of Andhra Pradesh. The State Government and its employees shall hand-in-hand toil for the development of Andhra Pradesh. New job opportunities should be created in public and private sectors.
