Promotion of PS to PPS – Ad-hoc Option Available
The government has initiated the process of promoting Private Secretaries (PSs) to Principal Private Secretaries (PPSs) of CSSS on an ad-hoc basis. In this process, the concerned authorities are calling for options from eligible PSs who are interested in being promoted. This process aims to provide career advancement opportunities for talented and deserving individuals in the Central Secretariat Service.

The undersinged is directed to refer to this Departments OMs of even number dated 28.12.2018 and 31.12.2018 vide which 603 (588+15) PSs have been promoted to the post of PPS of CSSS purely on ad-hoc basis for the period upto 30.06.2019 or till the post are filed up on regular promotion or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The purpose of these OMs was to promote 603 PSs to the post of PPS of CSSS on an ad-hoc basis.
The ad-hoc promotion is valid for the period until 30.06.2019 or until the posts are filled up on regular promotion, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
