Project ‘SANGAM’ for Defence Pensioners
CGDA has introduced a new software project ‘SANGAM’ for defence pensioners in 2011.
Project ‘SANGAM’ is a software which will facilitate issuance of corrigendum pension payment orders. This will address the demand from the ex-servicemen for issue of individual corrigendum pension payment order consequent to implementation of recommendations of Sixth Central Pay Commission (6th CPC).
The pension payment orders to be issued using ‘SANGAM’ software will be a special corrigendum pension payment system which will contain all the basic details of original pension payment order. It will also have details of family pension, disability pension and any other type of pension available to a pensioner. The new corrigendum pension payment order is unique in the sense that it gives new ID to each pensioner which will be helpful in readily accessing all data relating to a pensioner.
There are about 18 lakh defence pensioners who will be benefitted with the launch of project ‘SANGAM’ in the long run. It will also help in grievance redressal of pensioners with regard to the correctness of payment of pension.

Respected Sir, my Army No is 10245894P Ex-Sep/Clk Prashant Dey had retired from Army on 30 September 2015.. My PPO Number is S/41832/2015 (Army) dt 26 Nov 2015 and PENSIONER ID is 17020154183201P.. Sir, I am from ASSAM REGIMENT, Records The ASSAM REGIMENT had forwarded for issuing of Corrigendum PPO to your office through thier courier. But till now I have not received my Corrigendum PPO. You are also aware about pension increasing matter. Till now my pension has not increased and arrears of pension increasing amount has not yet been credited in my Bank Account. Sir, I am frankly speaking my mother in law is suffering from cancer, besides this my sister-in-law’s marriage has been fixed on January 2019. Before retirement I was getting good salary, but till now my source of income is only pension and few save money. Therefore, you are requested Sir, please take necessary action for issuing of corrigendum PPO as well as crediting of outstanding dues of my pension arrears & MACP amounts in my Bank Account. at the earliest.

Sir I got information from pcdap toll free customer care that my new e ppo no.411200300534 generated on 5 Aug 18.I am a pre 2016 I A F civilian pensioner.Will this new poo sent to.my HOO viz 23 Eqpt Depot Air force Stn Avadi Chennai soon.

What was the payments around one lakh (some 70 – 90 thousand, even more) that our colleagues received an year back. They say it is lump sum arrears of OROP as well as of 6th CPC. This amount was apart from the OROP arrears paid in four installments. I received the four installments of Rs. 14000/- each as arrears of OROP, that’s all. No more arrears whatsoever. I was waiting and waiting. I am not conversant with all these stuff. Please see into the matter and tell me whether I am suppose to get the lump sum that I mentioned above. Even my PDA SBI Vayusena Nagar Nagpur is not clarifying me anything regarding this. They say, “we are only the disbursing agency”, “whatever pension or amount comes in your name, we credit it in your account, that’s all”.

This post is with regard to the query asked by C. Chaterjee sir, as mentioned above. There is no word like ‘Oebsuib’. Actually it is ‘Pension’. It is misprint, rather wrongly typed keeping the left hand on the keyboard intact and right hand shifted one letter left which resulted the error. Thanks that I could think of it thought to share it with all those who must be quite confused as to what is being asked. It is actually ‘Basic Pension Being Paid by PDA’
Secondly, the BSR code stands for BASIC STATISTICAL RETURNS. It is a 7-digit code allotted to banks by Reserve Bank of India. When filling TDS/TCS returns BSR code is used in challan details and deductee details. Bank BSR code is different from the branch code used for bank drafts, etc.. This also can be found on net.

1) In col. 9 of the form, what is ” Basic Oebsuib being Paid by PDA” ?
2) In cols. 10 & 11 , what is meant by BSR code as under —

I have applied for sangam PPO on 18/10/16 and takan application to SYNDICATE BANK MANAGER BOLARUM. (i.e my pension disbursing agency.) for the certification of filled up bank details. The manager not signed the application for forwarding to JCDA (af) NEW DELHI. Bank staff not even provided me BSR CODE OF C.P.P.C SAYING THAT THEY ARE NOT USING C.P.P.C NO. HENCE THEY DO NOT KNOW THE NO, Ihave even shown them the policy on the subject.
