According to a recent announcement from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), there will be a notable reduction in the MDS cutoff range. Specifically, the cutoff will drop by 21.692 across all categories compared to last year’s figures. NEET MDS 2024 Revised Cutoff

The cutoff for the General Category in NEET MDS 2024 has been lowered to 28.308 percentile. Candidates took the NEET MDS 2024 exam on March 18, 2024. In a move to boost enrollment for the upcoming counseling session, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decreased the minimum qualifying percentile. This adjustment sees the General category cutoff drop from 50 to 28.308, while the thresholds for SC, ST, and OBC categories have also been adjusted from 40 to 18.308.

NEET MDS 2024 Revised Cutoff Reduced

According to the updated cutoff, the lowest qualifying percentile for the General category has been lowered from 50 to 28.308. Similarly, the minimum for SC, ST, and OBC categories has seen a drop from 40 to 18.308. Additionally, the cutoff for the UR-PWD category has been reduced from 45 to 23.308.

Influences impacting NEET MDS Cutoff 2024

The cutoff for NEET MDS in 2024 is generally set ahead of time. If there are no candidates participating in the counseling, the NBE could decide to reduce the NEET MDS cutoff percentile with the consent of the DCI. However, it’s important to note that the cutoff marks for NEET MDS vary annually due to evolving factors. Here are some of the criteria outlined.
