MACP on Promotional Hierarchy – Order of Court is Specific to the Applicant Only
The Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Jitendra Singh replied to a question about the issue mentioned above in the Parliament as follows…
“The employees including Group ‘C’ (which includes erstwhile Group ‘D’) are granted three financial upgradations under Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) Scheme in the next immediate Grade Pay hierarchy as per CCS(Revised Pay) Rules, 2008 on completion of 10, 20 and 30 years of regular service.
There have been instances where Tribunals and High Courts have directed to grant benefits under Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) Scheme in the promotional hierarchy. However, in such cases, the order of Court is specific to the applicant only.”

CAN I GET MACP ON 17.08.2022
You’re not eligible for first MACP since your pay fixation on 17-8-12 2nd MACP which will be given on 29+7-28 (but it will be given on 1-1-29 as per the rules) or if you are not got promotion before that.
Iwas promoted as Sr AO on 01.01.2009 in central govt.and after completion of 10 years of continuous service retired on 31 .12.2018. i was not given MACP by the Office saying that you were not in service on 01.01.2019.
When you are joined in the Department? It’s not as per the last promotion date.. If you’re got 3 upgradations of basic pay in service on compensation of 30 years, no more fixation in service.
I have been appointed in grade pay 2400 (Now Level -4 in 2014. as per promotion rules eligibility 10 years from steno Grade II to steno Grade I. If I get promotion then My promotion will be in Level – 6) (Rs. 35400) pay but till date I have not got any promotion. now I have completed 10 years in Level 4 (grade pay 2400). What will I get as per macp rule Level 5 or 6 (grade pay 2800 or 4200.)? Kindly help me regarding this macp scheme.
I have appointed in grade pay 4600 in 2008 . If I get promotion then My promotion will be in 5400 grade pay but till date I have not got any promotion. now I have completed 10 years in 4600 grade pay.

If your VERY GOOD BENCH MARK on completion of the 10th year on that day you will be next level 8 (GP 4800) as first UPGRADED MACP Scheme.
10 year complete hone par bhi increment band hone ke karan ni mila .. Kya mil sakta h sir…Pls help me..
Please tell me that department say no works at site ,but enquiry officer verified works at site up to 90-98%,but department issue full amount of work recovery order ,and say that the quality of work is poor, I tell you that department has no laboratory report about quality of work,in the inquiry report 05/2012 painting work verified 100%,but in the inquiry report 07/2012 painting work verified only 40-65%, & four inquire committies give reports but all are different,please justify that this is possible,
I suffered macp due to inquire,inquary setup in 2012department issue punishment order in2014, I went to court against punishment order,court stay action on punishment order in2014,but department withheld MY service bandits like macp ,&parmotion , please give me direction
Various CATs have passed orders to give MACP in the promotional heirarchy & the respective high courts have upheld the order. The govt.and the political masters are in no mood to respect the orders of various High courts and Tribunals.They will relent only with the final stroke from the Hon.Apex court.
What message do this govt give to the citizens?
Talking high on ethics & about respect towards Judiciary and another standard of doing things is unfortunate.
If The Hon.PM Shri Modiji do not intervene here at this juncture the citizen will have no hopes left in the sky high expected people friendly patriotic govt.
I AM WORKING IN CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SINCE 01/JULY/1986. AS I GOT HS-1 ON 01/01/2006 GRADE PAY 2800.ACCORDTNG TO MACP SCHEME THE DATE OF PROMOTION OR 30YEARS OF SERVICE WHICH EVER COMES EARLY.I SHOULD GET NEXT GRADE PAY THAT .IS 4200. I AM ELIGIBLE OR NOT.PLEASE SEND ME CLARIFICATION ON MY EMAIL ID

It means that the GOI is hell bent to engage each and every employee individually under every ministry/deptt.in court cases.The higher authorities in government are least bothered who will then remain present in offices when esch and every employee is being compelled to throw himself and UOI in court cases.The government should understand this well in time before it is too late.Time is near when the government will collapse because of it’s relentless and callous attitude towards its employees.My handfolded request to hon’ble Minister in PM office that kindly understand the just and genuine problems of government employees well in time and make an end to atrocities being committed upon the government employees and extend the benefits of MACP on promotional hierarchy instead of Grade pay heirarchy particularly in administrative cadre of LDCs/UDCs who have been on the victims of government since long.
