A new table of Vacation Breaks for the academic year 2022-23 has been released by the Head Quarter of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) today (25.3.2022) on its official portal. The detailed list of holidays and vacation breaks is reproduced and given it below for your ready reference…
KVS Summer Vacation 2022-23
The summer vacation holiday period for Agra, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Dehradun, Delhi, Gurugram, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu and Kashmir, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Silchar, Tinsukia and Varanasi has been declared 40 Days from 9th May 2022 to 17th June 2022.
The summer vacation holiday period for Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal and Ernakulam has been declared 48 Days from 4th May 2022 to 20th June 2022.

Note:
A. Both dates (days) are inclusive.
B. If the day of opening/day before closing Vidyalaya is a holiday or declared a holiday by govt, the same will be included in Vacation & Break
C. Teachers / Employees whose services are needed for CBSE Board Examinations Class-X & XII -2022 & Evaluation work as per direction of CBSE will be retained by the Principal of the KV.
D. Proportionate leave (EL/CCL) as per rule will be given for the period of stay at the station for CBSE Examination & Evaluation.
E. Principals are instructed to adhere to the above instructions and take necessary action for granting leave entitled to the Teachers/Employees who will perform their duties for CBSE Board Examination & Evaluation during the summer vacation.
