₹12 लाख तक की सालाना इनकम पर कोई इनकम टैक्स नहीं
Income Tax Rates for 2026–27 (New Tax Regime); The Government has introduced a major income tax relief for the middle class under the New Income Tax Regime for FY 2026–27. Individuals earning up to ₹12 lakh annually will now pay zero income tax (excluding special-rate income such as capital gains).
For salaried individuals, the tax-free limit further increases to ₹12.75 lakh, owing to the standard deduction of ₹75,000. This expanded exemption limit is achieved by combining revised slab rates with an enhanced rebate system.
This reform is designed to reduce the tax burden, boost disposable income, and encourage higher household consumption, savings, and investments.
