HSRP Number Plate Odisha 2024: The High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) will only be affixed by vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) and their approved dealers. Solely the designated HSRP provider authorized by the OEMs will deliver the plates to their recognized dealers. The task of attaching HSRP to older vehicles will be taken up by the OEMs’ endorsed dealers.

In order to promote openness and curb excessive charges, vehicle owners are required to schedule the installation of HSRP and make payments via an official online platform endorsed by the OEM. Through this platform, owners can select a dealer, location, and installation date as per their convenience. Regular updates on order status will be sent to owners through SMS by the authorized portal.

For transparency, OEMs or their dealers must prominently exhibit the fees for HSRP installation at their showrooms and on the HSRP portal. Additional services offering installation of HSRP at an alternative location may be proposed for an additional charge, contingent upon the owner’s approval.

Upon securing the HSRP, OEMs or their dealers must update the laser code in the VAHAN portal. Vehicles lacking a valid Registration Certificate, Fitness Certificate (for Transport Vehicles), or those with pending tax obligations will not be allowed to have HSRP installed by OEMs or their authorized dealers. OEMs are obligated to align their portal accordingly.
