How to book Sainik Rest House online?

How to book Sainik Rest House online in advance?

Booking of accommodation will be accepted online on KSB website www.ksb.gov.in between 10.30 hours to 17.30 hours on all working days by depositing the amount in CSRH account (PoS/NEFT/Paytm).

BOOKING OF ACCOMMODATION

Request for Reservation of Accommodation will be accepted maximum 15 days in advance. Booking for the serving Officers/JCOs/ORs will be accepted maximum one day prior to their arrival. Booking of accommodation will be accepted online on KSB website www.ksb.gov.in between 10.30 hours to 17.30 hours on all working days by depositing the amount in CSRH account (POS/NEFT/Paytm).

Notice of at least 24 hours for cancellation of reservation from the date of booking to avoid inconvenience to other ESM. No booking will be confirmed unless one day rent is paid through POS/NEFT/Paytm in CSRH Account. With prior approval of OIC, all walk-in guests will be accommodated, if accommodation is available. Contact No for booking of accommodation is 011-25777049. The rooms/dormitory will be allotted on first come first served basis in the following priority and no accommodation will be kept as reserved for any category:-

  • (a) ESM and their dependents.
  • (b) Ex-Servicemen, personnel who come to Delhi for re-settlement courses.
  • Serving personnel of the Defence forces and their families/civil personnel, if a vacancy exists.

PAYMENT OF BOOKING THROUGH PAYTM

Payment for booking of accommodation at CSRH, Naraina is accepted through Paytm. Image of Paytm QR code is appended below:-

ELIGIBILITY FOR USE OF CSRH

The use of Central Sainik Rest House is restricted for the following purposes:-

(a) Stay of ex-servicemen/dependents, personnel who come to Delhi for re-settlement courses and serving personnel of the Defence forces and their families/civil personnel, if a vacancy exists.

(b) Meeting of Sainik Boards/other meetings as decided by the Competent Authority.

(c) Holding of Recruitment Melas/Rallies, War Widows Meets, Defence Pension Adalats, Gallantry Awardees meets and seminar etc.

(d) Sainik Vocational Training Centre/Resettlement Training.

(e) Marriage and related social functions by Ex-servicemen, widows, civilians (on Payment) at specified rates.

(f) Any other purpose in the interest of ESM not covered above.

ACCOMMODATION

4. (a) Guest Rooms:-

(i) Officers – 10 Rooms with 2 beds each.
(ii) JCOs – 5 Rooms with 2 beds each & two dormitories with 8 beds each.
(iii) OR – 5 Rooms with 2 beds each & two dormitories with 8 beds each.
(b) Dining Hall.
(c) Conference Hall/Multipurpose Hall/Mini Hall.

CENTRAL SAINIK REST HOUSE, NARAINA (NEW DELHI)

BACKGROUND

A decision was taken to construct Sainik Rest House in the XXII KSB Meeting on 12 Feb 1993 and Managing Committee of Armed Forces Flag Day Fund meeting approved construction of Sainik Rest House through MES during the meeting held on 27 Feb 2001. The
Sainik Rest House Naraina has been constructed in Area 0.688 acres on Deposit Work order by
MES on defence land and construction was completed in Apr 2016. A sum of Rs 7.95 Crore has been expended for construction.

INAUGURATION OF CSRH

Honourable Defence Minister Shri Arun Jaitley inaugurated the Sainik Ret House, Naraina on 23 Jul 2017 in presence of Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Secretary Department of Ex-servicemen Welfare and senior officials of Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence. The CSRH is fully functional. The Central Sainik Rest House, Naraina is functioning as per the Rules approved by Department of Ex-servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence.

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The Management Committee looks after the maintenance and upkeep of CSRH. The Composition of the Management Committee is as under:-

(a) Chairman: Secretary KSB.
(b) Member Secy: Jt Dir (Adm & Coord)
(c) Members:-

  • (i) OIC CSRH (Officer nominated by Secy KSB)
  • (ii) Jt Dir (Policy)
  • (iii) Jt Dir (Accounts)
  • (iv) Representative of all the three recognised Ex-Servicemen Association and one of them to be JCOs/OR.

RATES OF RENT FOR SAINIK REST HOUSES IN THE STATE

Sainik Rest House Booking Regulations

Booking is allowed only three days in advance.

Advance booking facility is available to serving defence personnel/retired ex-servicemen/widows of ex-servicemen and their dependants only.

Booking can be done only by the outstation serving/retired defence personnel or their registered widows.

Booking request may be forwarded through email, telephone or in-person.

The following information is mandatory for booking:- (i) ID Card number of the person who is booking. (ii) Contact Number and/or email id.

Normally an individual can book only one room. Maximum of two rooms may be booked by an individual if there is a valid reason and rooms are available. In this regard, the secretary’s decision will be final.

In each room not more than two persons can stay. However, in the case of children below 12 years, maximum of two children will be permitted to stay additionally but no extra bedding can be provided.

All members who will be staying are to have valid ID proof (Eg: ECHS card/Aadhaar Card etc)

As a matter of practice dependents who are not accompanied by the serving/retired personnel will not be allowed to stay in SRH. However, those who have valid photo ID proof (eg: ECHS card/Aadhaar Card) to prove their dependency with the serving/retired personal who had booked the room may be allowed to stay.

The booking will stand cancelled if the occupant fails to occupy the room 01hour after the booked time of occupation and will automatically be allotted to the next in waiting list. Thereafter the person who had initially booked cannot claim accommodation based on his/her booking. However, in case of any other room available may be allotted at the discretion of the Secretary.

The above rules may be relaxed subject to the approval of the Chairman of the Executive Sub Committee.

What is room rent in Sainik Rest House for JCO?

The room rent for Serving JCO (A/C Room) is Rs.300 per day and Rs.200 per day Retired JCO. The room rent for Serving JCO (Non A/C Room) is Rs.200 per day and Rs.150 per day Retired JCO.
