Dearness Allowance Arrears Calculator: Revised to 46% for Central Government Employees

The Government of India recently increased the Dearness Allowance for Central Government employees from 42% to 46% of their basic pay, effective from July 1st, 2023. This revision has brought great joy to all Central Government employees! And also eager to know the increased amount in Dearness Allowance and the arrears for the months of July, August, and September 2023.
To assist with this, we have developed a user-friendly online tool that calculates the Dearness Allowance with the enhanced percentage and provides arrears information for each individual. By entering the required details into the toolbox, employees can easily determine their arrears for a three-month period. The tool provides comprehensive information on both the previous and revised Dearness Allowance rates, as well as the corresponding arrears.
Using the DA Arrears Calculator is straightforward. Simply select your pay level and basic pay from the drop-down menu. Prior to that, indicate whether you are a current or retired employee. Next, select your eligibility for the Transport allowance rate and choose the desired month for arrears calculation. Once these details are entered, click the Calculate button.
The tool will promptly generate a response displaying the following information:
1. “Check Your Inputs Details” – Please review this section to ensure that all details have been entered correctly.
2. The payment details of Dearness Allowance and Transport Allowance that have already been disbursed to you for the previous three months.
3. The conclusion of the calculator presents the arrears for a three-month period of Dearness Allowance and Transport Allowance. These amounts reflect the conversion to 46% of your basic salary, including the arrears.
