Confederation Writes to Finance Minister to Declare DA and DR from July 2023 immediately!

The Confederation of Central Government employees has addressed a letter to the Honorable Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, regarding the announcement of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for Central Government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners, effective from July 1, 2023. Furthermore, they have requested the declaration of Adhoc Bonus and Productivity Linked Bonus for Central Government employees prior to the Durga Puja festival.

In the letter, the General Secretary of the Confederation, S.B. Yadav, emphasizes that the second installment of DA and DR for the year 2023 is typically announced during the last week of September, with three months’ arrears being paid in the first week of October. The prolonged delay in announcing these orders has resulted in significant discontent among employees and pensioners.

The Confederation earnestly appeals for your swift intervention in this matter and kindly urges you to promptly issue the orders for DA, DR, and Bonus.
