Central Govt Salary Online Calculator

The Central Government Salary Online Calculator is a convenient tool designed specifically for Central Government employees to individually verify their pay package. This tool is available to use ​multiple times at no cost. It provides accurate calculations of the current rate of Dearness Allowance (46%) based on your basic salary. Additionally, it determines the appropriate House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance based on the classification of cities and towns. The tool offers four different pay structures based on one’s basic salary. For instance, if you are employed in a metropolitan city, you will qualify for the first pay structure result. On the other hand, if you work at a Post Office located in a remote village, you are entitled to the fourth pay structure!

How to Use 7th Pay Salary Calculator

Instructions for Utilizing the 7th Pay Salary Calculator: Our online tool distinguishes itself from others in its comprehensive functionality. To utilize this tool effectively, follow these steps:
1. Choose you​r pay level from the dropdown menu.
2. Select your basic salary.
3. Click on the Calculate button.
Upon clicking the Calculate button, t​he tool will generate a detailed report presenting four categories of pay structures corresponding to your basic salary. For instance, if your basic salary is Rs. 49000 and you are in pay level​ 6, the pay structure will be displayed as follows:

  1. Monthly Salary Calculation of basic pay Rs. 49,000 Level 6 (4200 GP) for the employees working in the X Class (HRA 27%) and TPTA Classified cities as on Today!
  2. Monthly Salary Calculation of basic pay Rs. 49,000 Level 6 (4200 GP) for the employees working in the Y Class (HRA 18%) and TPTA Classified cities as on as on Today!
  3. Monthly Salary Calculation of basic pay Rs. 49,000 Level 6 (4200 GP) for the employees working in the Y Class (HRA 18%) and ‘Others’ Classified cities as on as on Today!
  4. Monthly Salary Calculation of basic pay Rs. 49,000 Level 6 (4200 GP) for the employees working in the Z Class (HRA 9%) and TPTA Classified cities as on as on Today!

Government Pay Scale Calculator 2023

This calculator has been recently updated to reflect the revised Dearness Allowance, which has increased ​from 42% to 46%. As most of you are aware, Central Government employees receive three significant allowances based on their basic salary.
Dearness Allowance: 46% of the Basic Salary
Hou​se Rent Allowance: 27%, 18%, or 9%, depending on the classification of cities
Transport Allowance: Varies based on the classification of cities and pay level.

Central Govt Gross and Hand Salary Calculator

Generally, a Central Government employee is getting monthly salary with his basic salary including 3 major allowance (DA, HRA & TA) as per pay level! Deductions are in two segments, one is Government deduction and other one is Private deduction. Government deductions are GPF, NPS, Income Tax, HBA, Festival Advance, CGEGIS and Professional Tax. And the Private deductions are Personal Laon, Housing Loan, Co-Operative Store and Society etc., However, the Net Pay (In Hand Salary) will be calculated as follows…

Gross Salary = Basic Salary + DA + HRA + TA + Eligible Other Allowances

In-hand salary = Gross Salary – All Deductions
