One Time Registration (OTR) is essential for candidates applying for various examinations through the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) website. To begin the OTR process, candidates must click on the New User Registration Button. This registration remains valid for all future announcements by the Commission but does not serve as an application for any specific examination. Its primary function is to collect applicant information and provide a personalized dashboard for managing profiles.
Candidates must provide a valid email address and mobile number during the OTR process, as an OTP will be sent for verification. It is crucial to use the password created during OTR for any subsequent online applications. The policy prohibits multiple OTR registrations; violating this rule may lead to application rejection or cancellation. Those who have previously registered must complete the OTR process again on the new portal.
To access the online application dashboard, candidates should log in using their mobile number or email ID along with the password created during OTR. It is important to note that once the OTR is completed, candidates cannot change or correct their name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, or Aadhaar date of birth. Additionally, applicants are required to upload necessary documents through a Digilocker Account as part of their application process.
