Sir i got promotion from accountant to sr accountant issued on dated 15/05/2017 w.e.f. 01/04/2016 can i got option to forgo the pay arrear from 01/01/2016 to 30/06/216 and opt pay commission from 01/07/2016
Sir, I am to state that my present pay band is 15600-39100 with grade pay 5400. After four years of regular service I am now eligible for non functional grade pay of 6600 w.e.f 07.06.2016. It is a kind of financial up gradation as per rule of office order. However no order has been received yet and the file is pending in the office cabinet secretariat. But for financial benefit I have been given option from date of next increment in the option form dated 19.10.2016. So I am in confusion whether chance will be given to me regarding seeking option from me during fixation of pay when order will come. As option seeks from employee at the time of re fixation of pay. In my case two options are existing i.e 07.06.2016 or 01.07.2016. Please advice me as per the statement stated above.
