50% Salary Cut for Government Employees in Telangana

The State Government of Telangana has decided to pay only half of the salary to its employees due to lockdown for 21 days.

50 percent of the salary cut for all categories of state government employees and also 50% pension cut for pensioners.

The disease of Cornovirus has impacted the collection of revenue in the state and the high-level committee review meeting held on Monday. After reviewing the financial position of the state, there will be a 75% cut in the salaries of the Chief Minister, MLA, MLC and representatives of local bodies.

And 60% of salary cut for the higher officials of IAS, IPS, IFS and also deputation officers from the Central Government.

And also 10 percent of salary cut for Class IV employees and outsourcing, contractual employees.
