Gujarat CM Announced 3% Hike in Dearness Allowance from January 2022

On 76th Independence Day (15.8.2022) Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance for the employees working in the State Government. The hike is eligible to all State Government servants with restrospective effect from 1st January 2022. A total of 9.38 lakh employees of the State Government, Panchayat Service will enjoy the benefit!

1st July 2021: 28% of Basic Pay = Old DA

1st January 2022: 3% + 28% = 31% of Basic Pay = New DA

3% of DA Arrears from 1.1.2022

Arrears will be paid in 3 Installments: The first arrears for the months of January, February, and March 2022 will be paid in the month of August 2022. And the 2nd arrears for the months of April, May, and June 2022 will be paid in the month of September 2022. And the last installment of arrears will be paid in the month of October 2022.
